4th Grade Track Meet

Fourth graders from Underhill Central, Underhill ID, Jericho, Richmond, Huntington and Bolton participated in the first annual MMMUSD-CESU 4th GradeTrack Meet this past week.  The event, held at MMU, was the first time that all of the schools participated and was a complete success.  The power of seeing all our scholars in one spot for the first time celebrating health and fitness was beyond belief.  We'd like to thank all the schools and communities for their support and involvement. Math Mania

MMMUSD and CESU are proud to present Math Mania.  In collaboration with Engineers Without Borders Richmond Elementary will be hosting a celebration of Math for fourth grade students in MMMUSD/CESU schools.  Scholars can sign up as individuals or as teams of five.  To sign up please go to https://sites.google.com/site/vtmathmania2015

Vermont Awarded Federal Preschool Expansion Grant

Full Day Pre-K funding opportunity for 4 year olds in CESU beginning August 2015

Vermont was recently awarded a Grant to provide four year olds with 5 days per week of tuition free, high-quality, full day Pre-Kindergarten, during the 2015-16 school year.  This grant, in addition to Universal Pre-K funding, provides for full day, tuition free Pre-K for 4 year olds whose families meet the qualifications.  This option will be held at Richmond Elementary School and is available to all CESU residence who qualify (transportation will be provided).  

Qualifications for this grant funded program:

• a parent must be a resident in CESU
• your child must be 4 yrs old by September 1, 2015 
• you must meet the income guidelines (see chart)
