Dear UCS Families,
This survey will take about 5 minutes. We will truly appreciate any input you provide on the delayed starts this year.  Vermont passed the School Quality Standards that requires "professional learning groups for all teachers that meet during school time at least two hours per month."  MMMUSD and CESU implemented "delayed starts," on the second Wednesday each month to support this important work.
      February 10, 2016 is the next Delayed Start. School starts exactly 2 hours later than normal.  Free morning care is available at UCS provided by the Greater Burlington YMCA. Drop off for the Y begins at 7:15 AM.  Please call UCS if you need further information

Put on your garden gloves! We are getting ready to plan for spring planting! Please join the fun. The School Principal and Team UCS are taking on the responsibility of the garden and Carol is mentoring this process.

UCS Needs a Volunteer to:

Make a summer water/weed schedule and sign-up families to help. Come to the meeting or contact barbara.nason@cesuvt.org to take on this project.

Our school garden is a valuable asset to our children.

MMMUSD | CESU Pre-K Enrollment Reminder

January 30, 2016 is the deadline to submit MMMUSD | CESU Universal Pre-K enrollment forms.  

This lets the school district know what you are planning for Pre-K for the 2016-17 School Year.  This form also secures Act 166 funds for your child for the 2016-17 School Year.  Please submit this form to CESU Central Office in Richmond on or before January 30th.  For more information, to enroll online, or download the enrollment form you can go to http://prek.cesuvt.org .

MMMUSD | CESU School Based Pre-K placement will occur the beginning of February.  Notification of your child’s School Based Pre-K placement will be send out by the end of February.

Snowshoeing and Skiing Physical Education Classes

To make our outdoor adventures a success, we need parent volunteers.  Please email Mrs. Cowan at Amanda.Cowan@cesuvt.org if you are able to help (no previous experience required).  We also have equipment for parents to use!
